Disclaimer: Following Timor-Leste’s officially accession as the 11th member state of ASEAN in October 2025, the TASC will include Timor-Leste’s trade data in the “Taiwan-ASEAN Trade Statistics” starting from January 2026.
In April 2026, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 22.132 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 14.320 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 7.812 billion US dollars. In comparison to April 2025, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 42.11%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 36.82% increase, and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 52.94%.
Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 7.906 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 6.095 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.811 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 6.091 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 3.831 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 2.260 billion US dollars). The export and import details of each ASEAN country are presented as the following table and chart.
