Taiwan-ASEAN Trade Statistics May 2025

In May 2025, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 14.732 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 9.828 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.903 billion US dollars. In comparison to May 2024, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 38.43%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 52.00% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 17.35%. Malaysia ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 4.215 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 2.612 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.603 billion US dollars). Singapore is the second highest with a total trade volume of 3,781 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.729 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.053 billion US dollars).
