In July 2022, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 13.008 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 7.483 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 5.524 billion US dollars. In comparison to July 2021, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 26.50%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 21.03% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 34.75%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.953 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.693 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.260 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 3.086 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.640 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.446 billion US dollars).
