In October 2021, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 10.209 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 6.032 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.177 billion US dollars. In comparison to October 2020, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 30.01%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 24.67% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 38.55%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.218 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.168 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.05 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.144 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.243 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 0.901 billion US dollars).
