In October 2022, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 11.643 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 6.694 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.949 billion US dollars. In comparison to October 2021, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 13.99 %, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 10.96 % increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 18.36%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 4.033 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.822 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.210 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.561 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.251 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.309 billion US dollars).
