In June 2021, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 9.605 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 5.802 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 3.803 billion US dollars. In comparison to June 2020, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 39.24%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 40.94% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 36.72%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 2.990 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.112 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 0.878 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.064 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.075 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 0.99 billion US dollars).
