In November 2021, the total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries were 10.877 billion US dollars. The total exports from Taiwan to ASEAN were 6.327 billion US dollars, while the total imports from ASEAN to Taiwan were 4.55 billion US dollars. In comparison to November 2020, total trade volume between Taiwan and ASEAN countries has increased by 35.4%, while Taiwan’s export to ASEAN countries experienced a 31.16% increase and Taiwan’s import from ASEAN countries increased by 41.79%. Singapore ranks the highest amongst ASEAN countries with a total trade volume of 3.406 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Singapore were 2.337 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Singapore were 1.069 billion US dollars). Malaysia is the second highest with a total trade volume of 2.57 billion US dollars (Taiwan’s export to Malaysia were 1.425 billion US dollars while Taiwan’s import from Malaysia were 1.145 billion US dollars).
